A man who tried to force the woman he sexually assaulted to drink water from a toilet has been jailed for seven years.
Scott Green, 29, targeted victims at locations in Dundee and Fife in a campaign of terror which lasted between 2013 and 2021.
Green made one of his victims stand naked in a cupboard and sexually assaulted her, forced her to pretend to be a dog and attempted to force her to drink water from a toilet bowl.
Green also strangled her and placed her life in danger.
Green struck another woman’s head against a door frame, before placing her life in danger by seizing her by the neck.
He repeatedly punched her and spat on her face.
He also targeted a man, subjecting him to a terrifying attack in which he punched him on the head and strangled him.
He physically assaulted another man in a further sickening attack.
‘Serious offences’
Green was convicted of a total of 14 charges, including assault, sexual assault, breach of the peace, drug possession and breaking bail conditions.
Judge Tom Hughes handed him a nine-year extended sentence at the High Court in Glasgow, seven of which will be behind bars.
The judge said the “serious offences” caused “considerable difficulties” to the people involved.
He said: “These were not short incidents – it happened over the years between 2013 to 2020.
“Because of the gravity of this case and the previous criminal record, a custodial sentence is the only appropriate disposal.”
A 10-year non-harassment order was also granted, restricting Green’s contact with the two women.
Kill threats
A jury heard how Green, who originally came from Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, targeted his first victim, a man, at Townhill Loch in Dunfermline.
He repeatedly punched him on the head, threatened to kill him and strangled him to the danger of his life.
Green subjected a woman at a location in Dundee to physical abuse in November 2015.
He struck her head against a door frame before grabbing her neck and causing her breathing to be restricted.
He threatened to kill her and spat in her face.
Giving evidence about the attack, the 34-year-old said: “I was punched. I was grabbed. I had a panic attack. I couldn’t breathe.
“There was blood coming from my throat and my nose.”
