A Fife pensioner is to stand trial accused of sexually assaulting girls as young as six.
John McGarva is alleged to have targeted four different children over a number of years.
The 71-year-old is accused of inducing one child, who was six or seven at the time, to engage in a sex act on various occasions between December 2014 and July 2015.
He is further alleged to have sexually assaulted the girl on various occasions between the same dates by getting her to sit on top of him while he was naked after she had had a bath.
Another charge alleges that he use lewd and libidinous practices towards an 8-year-old by touching her inappropriately during a bath on various occasions between September and December 1997.
It is further alleged that between the same dates he induced an 11-year-old to don adult lingerie and took provocative photographs of her, and attempted to engage her in a conversation about sex on a separate occasion.
Two further charges relate to incidents which are said to have occurred at an address in Kinross between January and March 2012.
He is said to have sexually assaulted a 14-year-old on various occasions by touching her and putting his hand under her skirt, and of making sexual comments towards her.
McGarva, of Kinglassie, denies the charges and will stand trial later this month.
