A twisted pensioner who carried out sex acts on a spaniel has had his curfew lifted so he can spend a week in Spain.
Sex pest Derek Black has been given the go-ahead to travel abroad after completing the sale of his property on the continent.
He was previously found guilty by a jury of carrying out sex acts on the dog before turning his attention to the pet’s owner.
Creepy Black, 68, was placed on the Sex Offenders Register after he admitted getting aroused as he carried out at least half a dozen sex assaults on the spaniel.
He was also placed under supervision for a year, ordered to carry out 160 hours unpaid work, and placed on a curfew from 7pm to 7am for six months.
Sheriff Alistair Carmichael has removed Black’s curfew between February 19 and March 2 but added the seven days to the end of his order.
Black had previously been granted bail during the court proceedings so he could fly to Portugal to attend his son’s wedding.
Sex attacks on dog and owner
The jury at Dundee Sheriff Court found Black guilty of performing a sex act on the dog repeatedly and carrying out sex attacks on a 25-year-old woman.
The court had heard how Black picked up the spaniel and carried out a sex act on it before telling the dog’s owner how much it turned him on.
The woman described how Black came to her home repeatedly to abuse her pet dog before getting aroused and “dry humping” her doorframe.
She said Black was “obsessed” by the dog and told her he “knew a good way to tire out” her energetic pet, before leaving her shocked by carrying out the sex attack in front of her.
The woman, who had known him for years said Black also carried out a sexual assault on her while she was pregnant and after he had been aroused by touching the spaniel’s genitals.
Black, Gray Street, Broughty Ferry, was also found guilty of sexually assaulting the woman in Dundee between January 1 2013 and November 30 2017.
