A man is due to appear in court today over an alleged fraud at a Tayside wedding venue. Guthrie Castle near Forfar was at the centre of a police probe in April after reports weddings had been double-booked. A force spokeswoman said: “We can confirm that a 42-year-old man has been charged in connection with embezzlement at Guthrie Castle, Forfar. “He is expected to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court today. “Enquiries are continuing.”
