Police investigating a serious assault in Burntisland at the weekend have arrested a second male.
The 19-year-old local man is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A 13-year-old boy was arrested on Monday in connection with the incident in Dick Crescent on Saturday night and a report will go to the Children’s Reporter.
Officers say they are following numerous positive lines of inquiry in a bid to trace a number of other people also involved in the attack.
They said they were grateful to members of the public for their assistance with their investigation, citing it as excellent.
A man received substantial treatment for significant facial injuries following the assault.
