A woman and her new girlfriend who spent months stalking her former partner have appeared in court together to admit the campaign of abuse.
Lauren McDade and Rebecca Marnie plagued the woman by threatening and abusing her at numerous locations around Dundee last year.
Part of their campaign of harassment was to send false and malicious allegations about her to NHS Tayside and Dundee University.
They also engaged in the stalking campaign at various shops including Home Bargains and Asda and at a city primary school, the court heard.
McDade, 27, who was previously in a relationship with the victim, has been banned from contacting her for the next two years.
She was also ordered to carry out 270 hours unpaid work, while Marnie, 27, was ordered to carry out 135 hours unpaid work in the community.
Malicious allegations
The pair, who live together in Dundee, admitted stalking their victim at locations throughout the city between August 23 and December 4, 2022.
They admitted causing her fear or alarm by engaging in a course of conduct which included approaching her and shouting, swearing and uttering threats.
The duo further admitted making abusive remarks and repeatedly sending false and malicious allegations about the woman to the university and the hospital trust.
McDade was made subject to the two year non-harassment order and warned to “not even think about making any contact.”
