A man has been charged in connection with a jewellery heist at the Gleneagles Hotel.
Armed thieves allegedly struck at the five-star establishment in Auchterarder on Tuesday, June 27.
A force spokesman said on Friday: “Police Scotland can confirm that an 41-year-old man has been charged in connection with the armed robbery at Gleneagles Hotel.”
He added: “A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and he is expected to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday.”
Meanwhile, investigators have released CCTV images showing another man wanted in connection with the incident.
The suspect, who is believed to have links with the London area, is seen shopping at WH Smith and walking through a train station.
