A man is due to appear in court after an incident in a Perthshire town.
Three people were injured during a fracas at a house in Auchterarder at the weekend.
Emergency services were called to Sydney Crescent on Friday night. Neighbours said there were seven emergency vehicles with blue lights flashing, including two ambulances.
A 32-year-old man suffered a chest injury, while another man, 33, and a 34-year-old woman were also hurt.
All three were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee following the incident, which happened at around 7pm. Their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Police Scotland said a 29-year-old man was in custody and was due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court in relation with the incident on Monday.
A force spokesman said: “None of the injuries sustained are life threatening and Police Scotland would like to stress that this is an isolated incident with no suspects outstanding and there is no threat to the public.”
