A man has made a first appearance in court accused of leaving a 10-year-old girl seriously injured in a motorcycle hit-and-run accident.
Scott Cooper, 27, of Newport on Tay in Fife, was in the dock at Perth Sheriff Court to face charges on petition relating to an incident in South Street, Milnathort, on August 31.
The Crown alleges six breaches of the road traffic act, including causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Cooper made no plea or declaration during a brief appearance before Sheriff William Wood and had his case continued for further examination.
He was released on bail to return at a later date.
