Anthony Smith, 35, admitted shouting, swearing and threatening the woman on August 24 this year. During the incident he demanded entry, refused to leave, repeatedly kicked and damaged the door of her home in the city and pushed her on the body. Smith has a lengthy criminal record dating back to 2006 on which there are four previous convictions for domestically-aggravated offences. Sheriff Lindsay Foulis said: “It is not just your former partner but also her neighbours who will have been disturbed. “They will have had enough of it and so have I.”
