Three men accused of a series of assaults at a Kirkcaldy garage will stand trial later this month.
Ryan Donnelly, Paul Glancey, and Alexander Watson maintained their not guilty pleas when they appeared for a pre-trial hearing at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court yesterday.
The trio are accused of a 17-month campaign of abuse said to have taken place at Craignairn Cars on Forth Avenue Industrial Estate.
The three men are alleged to have restrained their victim with cable ties and shaved off his eyebrows, while Donnelly and Watson are also accused of shaving of his hair.
Watson is accused of striking the victim with a screwdriver at the used car dealership and service centre.
Donnelly is accused of spraying the man in the face with paint, while all three are said to have trapped him inside a metal container and refused to let him out.
Further charges allege that the victim was stripped and forced to walk in a public place in a pair of boxer shorts.
All of the alleged incidents are said to have taken place between November 2015 and March this year.
Donnelly, 31, of Letham Gait, Dalgety Bay; Glancey, 43, of Ramsey Road, Kirkcaldy; and Watson, 44, of Leven Road, Kennoway, deny all the charges against them.
Lawyers acting on their behalf yesterday said they were ready to proceed to trial on October 30.
Seven witnesses have been cited.
