Serial Dundee rapist jailed for nine years

A Dundee rapist who has a “sense of entitlement” towards women has been jailed for nine years.

Jason Okwara was found guilty of raping two women and sexually assaulting another in the city between 2004 and 2012.

He denied the crimes but was found guilty following a trial at Glasgow High Court.

The court had heard that Okwara told a victim “your mouth says no, but your body says yes” during an attack.

One rape took place in Broughty Ferry in 2004 and another happened at a different address in Dundee five years later. He struck again in 2012.

Judge Lady Rae said Okwara, 45,  held “a sense of entitlement to women and sex”.
