A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged after being found in possession of a knife in Methil on Christmas morning.
The man is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in due course, and has also been charged with assaulting a police officer.
The arrest comes as part of ongoing work as part of Fife’s anti-violence campaign, Operation Path.
Sergeant Collette Mather said: “Even on Christmas Day, tackling violence is one of Fifes top priorities and we are committed to keeping our communities safe.
“Anyone found in possession of knives or offensive weapons will be dealt with robustly.”
