A man has appeared at court charged with raping a Dundee woman at knifepoint.
Craig Lettice, 35, appeared in private at Dundee Sheriff Court on Wednesday afternoon, charged with the assault, which is said to have taken place at an address on Morgan Street last month.
It is alleged Lettice threatened to stab a woman with a knife, before raping her in the early hours of Saturday March 24.
Lettice, of Pitairlie Road, made no plea after appearing for a short hearing on petition at the court.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear again at Dundee Sheriff Court within the next eight days.
