Man charged after alleged assault on teenager in Methil

A Fife man has been charged in connection with an alleged assault on a 14-year-old boy.

Police Scotland confirmed a 39-year-old man was arrested following an incident on Sea Road in Methil on Tuesday.

A teenager boy was injured during the disturbance.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said; “Police in Levenmouth have arrested and charged a man following an assault in Methil when a 14-year-old boy was injured.

“Officers were called to Sea Road around 1.30pm after reports of an altercation in the street.

“The 39-year-old man will appear in Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court at a later date.”
