Two men have been charged following three alleged armed robberies in Dundee and Invergowrie.
A 37-year-old and a 46-year-old are due to appear in Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday in connection with the incidents at Scotmid Co-operative in Invergowrie, the William Hill shop on Buttar’s Loan and the Ladbrokes on Perth Road on Sunday, August 19.
A Tayside Police Division spokesman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that two men, aged 37 and 46, have now been arrested and charged in connection with three armed robberies in Dundee and Invergowrie on Sunday, August 19.
“They have been kept in custody and are due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday, August 23.”
