A man is to stand trial accused of hurling a Molotov cocktail from a moving car in Dundee.
Dean Rasche, 27, is alleged to have, while acting with others, “culpably and recklessly thrown a lit container containing a flammable substance from a moving vehicle”.
Prosecutors say he threw it on to the road in Gillburn Road, Dundee, to the danger of life and property.
Rasche, of Forth Crescent, denied a charge of culpable and reckless conduct during a pre-trial hearing at Dundee Sheriff Court.
It is alleged he was on bail at the time of the offence, which is said to have been committed on June 1 2016.
Defence solicitor Mike Short said he had lodged a special defence of incrimination of another in the case.
Sheriff Alastair Carmichael set a trial date on November 19.
