The trial of a Fife man accused of domestic abuse has been abandoned.
David Kinloch, 34, was accused of three counts of assaulting two women but his trial before a jury in Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court was deserted pro loco et tempore.
He was accused of assaulting one of the women to her injury at their former home in Lumphinnans Road, Lochgelly, May 5, and on various occasions between May 2015 and March 2018 at addresses in Dunfermline and Anstruther.
The other woman he is accused of assaulting to her injury on various occasions between March 2002 and January 2005 at an address in Methil.
Kinloch is also alleged to have behaved in a threatening or abusive manner towards one of the women and conducted himself in a disorderly manner and threatened violence towards the other.
