A pair of men will appear in Dundee Sheriff Court later today after their arrests in relation to a robbery in Broughty Ferry.
Police Scotland confirmed the arrests in the early hours of the morning.
A statement released by the force read: “Police Scotland can confirm that two males, both aged 37, have been arrested in relation to the robbery which occurred at Strathyre Avenue, Broughty Ferry on Wednesday 14th November 2018.
“They will both be appearing at Dundee Sheriff Court later today.”
The arrests come after Frances and Phillip Youngs, both of whom are in their 70s, said they were robbed in their in their Strathtyre Avenue house.
A car taken from the driveway of their home was later recovered.
Residents of Ferryfields were told to “lock their doors” by police following the incident.
