A 23-year-old man has been charged following an armed raid at a block of Dundee flats.
Police said the man had been charged with threatening and abusive behaviour following the incident on Lochee Road on Saturday.
Officers were called to the block of flats at around 3am and locked down the route for most of the early morning.
Witnesses reported hearing loud bangs and saw smoke coming from the front entrance of a block of flats at around 9am before officers wearing protective clothing and carrying firearms entered a property.
Fire crew wearing breathing apparatus were also called to the scene to assist police officers.
The 23-year-old is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court later today.
