EuroMillions winner Gillian Bayford will appear in court charged with assaulting her former partner.
The 46-year-old, who now goes by the surname Bayford-Deans, is accused of lashing out at former boyfriend Gavin Innes, 45, in October last year.
Police Scotland confirmed Ms Bayford-Deans, who worked as a healthcare assistant prior to the £148 million win, had been charged. She is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on December 27.
Ms Bayford-Deans scooped the second largest EuroMillions jackpot ever with music store boss ex-husband Adrian in 2012.
The lottery winner became involved with domestic abuse campaigner Gavin Innes last year after he reportedly approached her to get involved with his charity, which supports male victims.
The pair are no longer together and in August, she wed Brian Deans, 37.
Born in Kirkcaldy and raised in Carnoustie, Ms Bayford-Deans moved back to Scotland after her split from Adrian and has become known for her philanthropy.
