Police have made further arrests as part of an alleged murder in Dundee.
Earlier on Thursday evening, a 19-year-old man was charged in connection with the alleged murder of a man in Dundee city centre in the early hours of the New Year.
Later the same evening, Police Scotland confirmed that a second man, aged 24, has been arrested and they added that a 21-year-old woman had also been arrested in relation to a number of assaults linked to the same incident, which took place in the Nethergate, Dundee, on January 1, 2019.
The 19-year-old is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Friday.
Officers have also said they are now “confident” they know the identity of the man who died.
He was rushed to hospital following the large-scale disturbance near the main taxi rank in the Nethergate but sadly could not be saved.
