Police Scotland have unearthed more than £2.3million worth of drugs at one address.
An operation on McCreery Street in Clydebank led to officers seizing 41 kilos of cocaine, a “significant quantity” of diazepan, one kilo of heroin and more than 14 kilos of cannabis.
The drugs were discovered on Saturday, March 2 at about 8.20pm.
Two people, a woman aged 30 and a man aged 45, have been arrested and charged in connection with the find. They were due in Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, March 11.
Detective Sergeant Nicky Beattie said: “This substantial recovery shows our commitment to disrupting drug activity and supply in our local communities.
“This seizure ensures that £2.3million worth of drugs will not be distributed on our streets. Drugs cause real devastation to people’s lives and the wider community.
“The public can be assured that targeting drugs and tackling those involved in criminality remains a priority.
“Anyone with concerns regarding ongoing drug crime in their local area can contact us on 101 or make an anonymous report to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
