A man has been charged following an incident in Dundee city centre last week which prompted a huge police response.
A large police presence was spotted in several locations around the city after the incident on May 22.
Police refused to confirm the nature of the incident at the time.
Today, they said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 42-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an incident at Meadowside St Paul’s Church in Nethergate, Dundee on Wednesday May 22.
“He has been kept in custody and is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday May 28.”
