Thieves stole items due to be sold as part of a charity fundraiser for premature babies.
A wig and suitcase were among the donations stolen from the table top sales event at the Masonic Hall in Forfar in aid of premature babies at Ninewells Hospital.
Organiser Ethel Soutar said: “I just couldn’t believe that somebody would just walk out with something from a charity sale.
“I don’t know what else has been stolen. The suitcase was a good one. It’s sickening.”
The sale raised £233 and the next fundraiser will be a coffee morning and craft fair on Saturday at St John’s Church hall, Forfar, from 10am until 4pm.
