Police have issued a fresh appeal for information as they attempt to track down a man who entered a Dundee home and carried out a sexual assault on a woman.
The victim in her early-30s was targeted on Balunie Crescent on Saturday, October 19 between 10am and 11.30am.
Detectives have been scouring CCTV and carrying out door-to-door inquiries following the incident.
They have been maintaining a high presence on the street following the assault.
Police say the culprit was wearing a black scarf, black tracksuit top and bottoms, and a black, tammy-style hat. He is said to be about 5ft 8in and have spoken with a Dundee accent.
In a video posted to Tayside Police Division’s Facebook page, Detective Inspector Marc Lorente said: “We’re here on Balunie Crescent appealing again for witnesses (following the) serious sexual assault hat occurred last Saturday morning between 10.30am and 11.30am in the morning.
“We’re appealing for members of the public to come forward. We’re looking for a male: 5ft 8in, black tammy, black scarf across his face and a black tracksuit.
“We’d be grateful if you could come forward with any information you think could be relevant.”
