Locals will be able to get a free Christmas meal at the home of Dundee United this year.
The free Christmas meal, organised by the Dundee United Community Trust, is being held in the Hegarty Suite at Tannadice from 10am to 3pm on Christmas Day.
The idea behind the initiative is to provide support for people who may be alone at Christmas, whether they are older people who may not have any friends or family, young families who may need extra support during the festive season, students who cannot get home for the holidays or people who may not have a home to go to.
This year will mark the second time the Dundee United Community Trust has hosted the meal and they are looking to make it bigger and better this time around following a successful first run in 2018.
There will be space for up to 120 people to come along and enjoy the festive fun.
It is anticipated spaces will fill up quickly so it is recommended anyone interested books their place as soon as possible.
Anyone interested in booking a place should email health project manager Michael Malone via michael.malone@dundeeunitedct.co.uk or call 01382 833 166.
Details should include name, main contact number and date of birth, as well as any special dietary requirements of the person who will be attending.
