An exhibit featuring props from a hugely popular Disney stage-show is coming to Dundee next month.
The Overgate Shopping Centre will welcome a pop-up The Lion King display ahead of the musical’s opening at the Edinburgh Playhouse in December.
The Tony Award-winning stage show, one of the longest-running West End musicals in history, is an adaption of the 1994 classic Disney movie.
The Overgate exhibit will feature items including costumes, puppets and masks which feature in the musical.
The Lion King characters including the Rafiki and Zazu puppets will be among the displays, alongsde masks of Simba, Nala and Mufasa.
Dundee will be the first Scottish city to welcome the free exhibition from Friday, November 1 until Sunday, November 3. It will be open from 9am – 6pm (Friday – Saturday) and 11am – 5pm (Sunday).
The Lion King will run at the Edinburgh Playhouse from December 5 until March 29. Tickets to the show are now on sale.
