A body has been found in the search for missing Dundee man Walter Stewart.
Mr Stewart, 58, has been missing since the morning of Friday November 8.
He was last seen around 4am in Helmsdale Avenue when he told his family he was going for a walk.
Police say a body was found in the Kirtkon area today and Mr Stewart’s family have been informed.
Formal identification is yet to take place.
Extensive enquiries had been carried out to try and locate Walter at the weekend without success.
A post mortem examination will take place in due course to establish the exact cause of death, however at this time there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
