An elderly woman has been rushed to hospital after being knocked down by a car in a Dundee street. The rush-hour incident happened on Dalrymple Street at 5.10pm. The woman’s condition is unknown at this stage and the scene has been closed off by police, with road closures also in place on Glamis Road. A Police Scotland spokesman said: “There was an RTC involving a vehicle and a female pedestrian on Dalrymple Street, Dundee. “Reported at 5.10pm. Emergency services at scene and road closed with diversion in place. “Woman taken to hospital, no update on injuries.” Emergency services were still on the scene shortly after 8pm.
