A plane flying into Dundee Airport on Tuesday morning was forced to take more than one detour as it attempted to land in the city.
Pilots on the Loganair flight were forced to loop around Dundee several times before landing due to the poor weather conditions.
The early journey from London Stansted to Dundee Airport was hampered by heavy fog which plagued Tayside.
According to the website Flightradar24, the Saab 340 aircraft left London at 9.10am and landed in Dundee just after 11am. The flight time was given as one hour and 48 minutes.
The plane landed safely after the pilots found a break in the fog.
A spokesman for Logainair said there were 14 passengers on board.
He added that the aircraft had to enter “a short holding pattern above Dundee” as low fog was “preventing an approach”.
Staff at Dundee Airport joked that passengers had been taken on “a bit of a merry-go-round”.
They tweeted: “A bit of a merry-go-round for our passengers from @STN_Airport this morning, the @FlyLoganair pilots managed to find a break in the fog though and landed safely.”
