Traffic chaos for Dundee and Perth commuters after A90 crash

A road traffic crash involving two vehicles on the A90 Dundee to Perth road has left road chaos for evening commuters.

The incident left tail backs stretching almost two miles as emergency services were alerted.

The accident happened close to the Swallow roundabout on the A90 at shortly before 6pm.

A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue confirmed: “We had a  number of appliances  dispatched following a call at around 6pm.

“However those crews have now been stood down.”

Traffic remains heavy in the area
