Two people had to be rescued by firefighters after getting trapped in a lift in a shop in Dundee city centre.
Fire crews were called to Marks and Spencer on Murraygate at 2.20pm.
They lowered the lift to the ground floor before opening the door and allowing the two customers out around 3pm.
One shopper said: “I was in to get some lunch and saw around four to five fire officers and a couple of staff members forcing open the doors of the lift shaft.
“One of the officers shouted up to ask how many people there were and what their ages were and I heard one ’I know you’re agitated but we are going to get you out’.”
