A four-foot iron spike was sent flying into the garden of a Dundee house after a car crashed into railings above it. Emergency services were called to Somerville Place just before 10pm on Friday. The driver of a black BMW lost control of their and collided with the fence. Emergency services were called to Somerville Place, Dundee. The damaged car on Somerville Place on Saturday morning. One of the railings fell into the garden of a house on Constitution Court below. Luckily, no one was hurt. Police Scotland said the driver of the car was also uninjured. One witness said: “Police closed half the road while they were dealing with it. “It could have been much worse. Had the car gone through the railings then it is a 10-20 foot drop into the garden below.”
