A four-foot iron spike was sent flying into the garden of a Dundee house after a car crashed into railings above it. Emergency services were called to Somerville Place just before 10pm on Friday. One witness said: “Police closed half the road while they were dealing with it. “It could have been much worse. Had the car gone through the railings then it is a 10-20 foot drop into the garden below.”
