Footage has revealed the full circumstances of a car crash in Dundee on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident, shared by Facebook page Tayside Mobile Speed Locations, is taken from outside the Arnold Clark showroom in Balfield Road at 2.10pm.
A black car, thought to be a Kia Picanto hatchback, goes over the Loons Road crossroads. At the same time a white Dacia Logan taxi ploughs into the side of the vehicle.
The collision pushes the black Kia vehicle into a silver car in Balfield Road on the other side of the crossroads. The black Kia then heads in the direction of the car showroom, smashing through a barrier and into the window.
The woman who drove the black Kia was trapped in her car and had to be cut free by firefighters from the wreckage.
She was taken to Ninewells Hospital.
Her injuries were said to be non-life-threatening.
The taxi driver was uninjured.
On Thursday afternoon a police spokesman said inquiries into the crash remain “on-going”.
Bizarrely, it was the second crash at a car showroom in Dundee within 48 hours.
On Monday police were called to King’s Cross Road after a man lost control of his car and smashed into a car worth nearly £30,000 at an Audi dealership.
One eyewitness said: “The driver had been heading towards the circle and, by all accounts, he just lost control and went through the barrier.”
No one was hurt.
