Four men have been sentenced to a total of 21 years after flooding Dundee with Class A drugs.
Kevin Ferguson, 34, Crawford Murphy, 30 George Black, 31, and Zane Astbury, 36 all admitted being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine, which had a street value of approximately £365,000.
At Glasgow High Court on Friday, Ferguson was given six years and nine months, Murphy six years and four months, Black four years and four months and Astbury four years.
Detective Inspector Stewart Forsyth said the news showed courts will punish dealers with “lengthy” sentences.
He said: “These sentences serve a strong message to people who deal controlled drugs within our communities that we continue to be determined in arresting and convicting people involved in this illicit trade.
“A significant amount of work was carried out during this investigation by the investigation team, our partners as well as assistance from the wider public I would like to publicly thank them for that.”
Murphy and Ferguson pled guilty to being concerned in the supply of both heroin and cocaine while Black and Astbury admitted being involved in trafficking heroin only.
