A Dundee’s shopper’s missing Christmas presents have been found in the lost and found section of a city store. Sue Hogan, from Woodside, was left heartbroken after the gifts bought for her loved ones went missing after a visit to the Overgate Shopping Centre on Saturday, December 21. She initially thought the presents were stolen from the benches outside the complex, near to Goldsmiths, at about 11.30am. However staff from the Overgate say the gifts have been traced in the lost property section in Bodycare. Ms Hogan is believed to have left them there by accident. They were discovered following a review of the centre’s CCTV. Overgate Centre manager Malcolm Angus said: “We were sorry to hear about Sue’s missing bag of gifts especially so close to Christmas day. “The run up to Christmas can be an incredibly busy time for people. “We are happy to be reuniting Sue with her purchases, which a review of the centre’s CCTV confirms had been left by accident in Bodycare.”
