A driver has been urged to come forward after a road crash that led to the death of a car passenger in Dundee.
On Sunday January 5 a black Ford lost control at Coupar Angus Road and collided with a tree. The 26-year-old man, who was travelling in the vehicle, died at the scene.
The 31-year-old driver was seriously injured and was undergoing treatment at Ninewells Hospital.
Police Scotland is appealing for the driver of a silver or light blue coloured vehicle, possibly a Peugeot Partner in relation to the incident.
Police Constable Michael Guild of the Road Policing Unit said: “We are appealing for the driver of the car to come forward, they may have witnessed the collision which would assist our enquiries.
“The vehicle was seen exiting Dayton Drive onto the mini roundabout at Coupar Angus Road and turned left towards Birkhill at around 11pm on Sunday 5 January.
“If you are the driver, please get in touch on 101 quoting 3357 of 5 January’.”
