The 36-year-old apparently collided with a wall near the Poundstretcher shop on Lochee Road shortly after 4.50pm. A number of witnesses were in the vicinity at the time and police have appealed for them to come forward with information by calling 101. The severity of his injuries are not known at this stage. The police reference number is 2527 of February 11.
