The smash occurred in Old Craigie Road at around 6.50pm on Wednesday. Firefighters were helping to release occupants, but it is unclear yet whether anyone has been hurt. The collision has led to one lane of adjoining Arbroath Road being blocked. A police spokeswoman said: “We were called to reports of a two-car crash in Old Craigie Road about around 6.50pm. “An ambulance is on scene.” A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to a road traffic collision on Old Craigie Road at 6.58pm. “We have two pumps in attendance. “We have stabilised the vehicles and are assisting to remove casualties.”
