The owners of a Chinese supermarket in Dundee are set to upgrade their security after two possible “hate crimes”.
Wing Fung on Trades Lane was targeted twice in a matter of days last month by a man who threw stones at the building’s front windows.

Police have confirmed “one line of enquiry” is that the crimes were racially motivated.
Owner Bryan Chen said there have been no further incidents since the second on February 6 but stressed he is not taking any chances.
“I have connected the CCTV monitor to the shop floor so if someone is outside I can see them now,” he said.
“I am planning to upgrade the camera quality within the next month too.
“That way if it happens again then the vandal will be clearer to see.
“I’m not worried that he hasn’t been caught and I don’t know if he will come back.
“Business goes on as usual and I’ll leave it in the hands of the police.”
Mr Chen handed over CCTV to local police of the two incidents but so far the suspect has not been traced.
Footage of the first on on February 4 shows a man walking up to the store just before 10pm and throwing a stone or similar object at the shop’s side window three times, smashing it.
In the second, at around 5.30pm on February 6 while the shop was still open, CCTV shows what appears to be the same man arrive at the store and again throw an object towards it while filming with his mobile phone.
The man then returns a short time later, throwing a second object at the window above the main entrance, this time smashing it.
Chief inspector Coleen Wylie, Police Scotland Safer Communities, said: “We monitor reports of hate crime and community tensions on a daily basis, as we’re aware of the impact and harm this kind of behaviour can have on individuals and communities.
“Hate Crime of any nature is unacceptable and we will investigate every report.
“Police Scotland would always urge anyone who has been a victim of, or witness to, a hate incident to contact us by calling 101, or 999 in an emergency, or via one of our third party reporting organisations, the details of which can be found on the Police Scotland website.”
