Police have charged a man after a 39-year-old man died in a property in Dundee.
Ryan Barrie, 39, died at the weekend. A police cordon and tent was erected in the early hours of March 1 at Benvie Gardens. Police remained on the scene the following day.
A police statement said: “Around 2:50am on Sunday, 1 March, 2020, officers received a report a 39-year-old man had died in a property in Benvie Gardens in Dundee.
“A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death. He is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 3 March, 2020 and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”

Neighbours have paid tribute to the “bouncy” father who died over the weekend.
One neighbour said Mr Barrie would always walk with a bounce in his step and always say hello.
Several neighbours who knew Mr Barrie said they were too shocked to speak.
