Thousands of European citizens living in Dundee have successfully registered with the EU settlement scheme.
Council bosses have welcomed the news that nearly 4,300 individuals have signed up to remain in the UK.
The scheme is designed to protect the rights of EU citizens living in the country.
Will Dawson, the city council’s cross-party Europe Group chairman, said: “We are pleased to see the latest Home Office figures that show so many EU citizens living in Dundee have secured settled status already.
“However, we are aware that there are a number of EU citizens who are still to register.”
