A Dundee chef has launched a no-contact delivery service to bring a slice of the restaurant’s fine cuisine to people in isolation through coronavirus. Adam Newth, owner of the Tayberry Restaurant in Broughty Ferry, hopes to preserve the business while ensuring the safety of staff and customers. People living within five miles can order hot meals to their doorstep. Cold food packages can also be ordered. Some of the food on offer. Mr Newth said he hopes the offer can “deliver a few smiles” to customers during a difficult few months. Orders can be placed through the UK Takeaways app and NHS staff and emergency services will receive 20% off.
