NHS Tayside has pledged to provide funding to community projects helping people through the coronavirus crisis.
The NHS Tayside Community Innovation Fund will support initiatives that address specific challenges that have arisen for people who are now at heightened risk as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Community groups can apply for any amount between £500 and £25,000 over a three-year period to establish new projects.
Richard McIntosh, community capacity building officer for the NHS Tayside Community Innovation Fund said: “We know community connections are helping to build bonds of support during this difficult time.
“Being kind, offering support and thinking of one another is making neighbourhoods and communities stronger together.”
