A radio campaign is set to be launched to help vulnerable people seek help from harm and abuse services. The advertisement will be live from tomorrow on Dundee-based Wave FM, in an effort to keep communities safe during lockdown. Harm and abuse can come in many forms, and affects a wide range of people, including children, vulnerable adults and those in abusive relationships. The advert, which will run for three weeks, will encourage those who need support, or have concerns about someone that could be at risk, to speak up. The radio campaign follows on from the distribution of thousands of flyers signposting people to support during the coronavirus. Information can be found at www.dundeeprotects.co.uk. Concerns can be reported by calling 01382 307999, or by dialling 999 if harm is happening now.
