Charity and school workers will be the latest to benefit from free meals provided by the Grosvenor Casino in Dundee.
The West Marketgait venue has been dishing out lunches to those working in the NHS, social care, emergency services and armed forces but bosses want to reach more people.
They have extended the initiative to include charities, schools and vulnerable people and asked those who could benefit to contact the casino directly.
Lunch options include burgers, chicken or fish and chips.
Andrew Miller, general manager at Grosvenor Casino Dundee, said: “After launching the free lunch initiative we’ve had a positive response from key workers in the local community who are enjoying delicious free meals by taking up this offer.
“The team at Grosvenor Casino Dundee are extremely grateful for those in our community going that extra mile which is why we want to do more.
“We have the ability to prepare meals in our kitchen for collection which is why we’re extending the offer of free lunches to a local charity or charities, meals for schools or a hot meal for vulnerable people in our community as another way to help people in need and say thank you.”
Lunches for emergency services and NHS staff will be given through the Blue Light card. Registration is free at www.bluelightcard.co.uk
