A female jogger has been assaulted by a young man riding a bike in Dundee.
Police are looking to trace a cyclist, in his later teens or early 20s, who is believed to have approached the woman from behind before assaulting her on Claverhouse Road near to the Old Glamis Road.
The victim was left “shaken and upset” but not badly hurt by the assault, which happened at 7.50pm on April 27.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said the area is popular at the moment with people taking daily exercise.
She said: “A woman who was jogging on Claverhouse Road near to the Old Glamis Road roundabout was approached from behind by a man on a bike, who briefly assaulted her as he rode past.
“Officers would like to trace a man described as in late teens or early 20s, about 6ft in height with medium length light brown hair and wearing rectangular glasses.
“He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top and light grey jogging bottoms, and riding a grey bike at the time.”
She said they hope someone in the area may have seen the cyclist around the time of the incident.
“If you have any information that could assist our investigation, please call 101 or speak with any police officer,” she added.
