Thieves have made off with a number of items from a prominent estate near Carnoustie.
Police say historic Panmure Estate, which dates from the 12th century, was targeted at least three times between April 24 and 27.
A red and cream Honda generator with a customised wheeled frame was stolen as well as a petrol-engined strimmer.
An orange and black Bell wacker plate and an orange Stihl diamond blade saw were also taken.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “If you have any information that could assist our investigation, particularly if you have been offered any of these items for sale, please call 101 or speak to any police officer.
“Also, information can be given anonymously through CrimeStoppers in 0800 555 111. Our reference is incident 1087 of 26th April.”
