Dundee footballers have set themselves a May goal of racking up the miles in support of NHS heroes on the Covid-19 frontline.
The Dryburgh Athletic Community Club Ladies and U21s squads aim to hit a target of walking, running or cycling around six miles every day this month to complete the 190-mile club challenge.
They will be joined in their efforts by club rep Ashley Robertson, coaches Ross James, Fiona Ramsay and Dryburgh chairman John Beatt.
“As a club, Dryburgh wish to show their appreciation for all the hard work and commitment shown by the frontline workers of the NHS,” said a spokesperson.
“Each day, on social media, the club will highlight one of the players taking part and share their thoughts on this tough challenge. Any donation received will be very much appreciated.”
